“Cactus Cafe: The Next Chapter” submitted to VP for Student Affairs

On Friday Friends of the Cactus Cafe board member Reid Nelson submitted a 25-page proposal to VP for Student Affairs Juan González that details a “unified self-operating model” for the “Next Chapter of the Cactus Cafe.” Nelson’s cover email, a subsequent press release and the 25-page document are below.

I recently corresponded with Drs. Powers, Gonzáles, and Lilly about my belief in the transformational power of VISION, without which institutions and communities do not thrive.

I've just read the business plan. THAT is VISION.

Excellent - the BUSINESS PLAN that could have been created by UT management - the same folks who run business, music, communications, marketing, etc. departments. I hope they use this as a model for any future changes they may consider It's a great teaching tool for people who work as teachers.
